after midnight ponderations

was just reading my previous post. goodness. even when i read it it felt so self centred. well, it's over now. stuff haf settled. but you know, we're not living in a clean room. Dust will always settle.

Before today, it didn't exactly hit home that it's been quite a while since i toked seriously wif another human. i've skimmed the surface of a whole lot of activities, relationships... a reasonable lot of them. but you see, when you skim the surface of the soup with a spoon... what is the result? cold soup in ur spoon.

..i dunno if this illustration is clear. but what's a reflective journal without the provokation of thought.

anyway, toked rather briefly with zy today. but it was precious. talking to other christians really helps you see/realise how God has been working in your life. well, even though this was what impacted me the most today, i can't give it justice with a realli long paragraph as i lack the capacity to do so now.. (comeon eyelid, juz a lil more!)

jasonification, poor guy man! hey*(china style)! be a man, do the right ting! haha, seriously, u know how good ya are. but we all have missed the mark one way or another (Matt 5:48 "Be perfect therefore as your heavenly father is perfect"). no way i'm gonna try to quell the anst and gek-sim-ity, but i sympathise with u man. yup, wanna have a match with you.. but not now.. when u cool down=P

french was a headache today man.

drama was hotseatedly transformative.

law was genuinely interesting.

dma opened my eyes to a new perspective of person that i never thought exsited. I KNOW WHO THE HIPPO FROM HIPPO AND FRIENDS IS!

we learn something new everyday. some may argue of the usefulness of whatever learnt. but how do u determine what is worth learning if we don't know what the future holds? And if the future is so important to us, shouldn't we judge what is or is not important by a stricter measure than simply the balance of probabilities? To decide what knowledge is not useful, it's uselessness has to be proven far beyond reasonable doubt (law students, rejoice!). Only when you do that, is it safe to say that "I dun need to learn that la".

But we can't learn everything too.
Too many.

It's a good thing we have instincts=)
